1. Submit a deletion request
You can request deletion of data held by Room64 by emailing hello@room64.net. No website account or sign-in is required. For information from a service connected to Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or Meta, please identify that service.
- Use the subject “Personal data deletion request — Room64”. Requests in Thai or English are welcome.
- Include your name or account name, the channel used to contact us, the service and data you want deleted, and approximate dates of use. If available, include the relevant profile link or Page ID to help locate the information.
- Send from the email used for the service if possible, and provide a reply channel. Do not include passwords, access tokens or copies of identity documents in your initial request.
2. Verification and processing
We will review the request and may ask for the minimum additional information needed to verify ownership and locate relevant records. We will then delete or anonymize information within the request’s scope and coordinate with relevant processors where necessary.
We will act without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law. If more time is needed or part of the request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain why and provide a status update through your reply channel. Reply to the same email thread to follow up.
3. Scope and limitations
Requests may cover contact details, conversation history, files you supplied, and Meta account or connection information stored by Room64, depending on the service used and the information we can associate with you. Deletion may prevent us from providing parts of a service or recovering previous history.
Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, accounting, fraud prevention or legal claims, with use restricted to the necessary purpose. Backups still within their retention cycle may not be erased immediately. Where these limitations apply, we will explain the data categories and reasons.
Room64 cannot delete information independently controlled by Meta or other businesses. If the information belongs to a business customer for whom we act as a processor, we will help coordinate with that controller. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify individuals may not be separable for individual deletion.
4. Disconnect Facebook or Meta
If you previously authorized an app associated with Room64, open Facebook settings and review “Apps and websites” or “Business integrations”, depending on the connection. Select the relevant app and remove it or revoke its permissions. Menu names may vary by account and Meta version.
Revoking permissions helps stop access through that connection; it does not necessarily delete information previously received. Send a request using the steps above to delete data held by Room64. A Room64 data deletion request does not delete your Facebook or Instagram account.
